Italian artist Roberto Paci Dalò was born in Rimini. He grew up in Tremosine sul Garda and he has lived in Berlin, Naples, Rome, and periodically in Vancouver BC; he currently lives and works on the Rimini's hills. His work has won him international admiration from – among the others – John Cage and Aleksandr Sokurov. Composer / musician, director / author, visual artist, and activist he has presented his works in the most important museums and festival sincluding the Venice Biennale, Fundaciò Joan Mirò Barcelona, Power Station of Art Shanghai, Vienna Opera House, Wien Modern, Palais des Beaux Arts Bruxelles, Fondazione Bevilacqua La Masa Venice. He leads the group Giardini Pensili (co-founded in 1985) and he's the recipient of the Berliner Küsterprogramm des DAAD Fellowship and the Premio Napoli 2015. Collaborations include Kronos Quartet, Fred Frith, Alvin Curran, Jon Rose, Terry Riley, Tom Cora, David Moss, Robert Lippok, Akio Suzuki, Philip Jeck, Stefano Scodanibbio, Scanner, Sacri Cuori, Mouse on Mars, Almamegretta, Massive Attack, Fennesz, Tenores di Bitti, Luigi Lai, Giorgio Agamben, Predrag Martvejevic', Gabriele Frasca, Adriana Borriello, Yasuhiro Morinaga, Peter Courtemanche. Roberto's member of the Internationale Heiner Müller Gesellschaft (Berlin) and the British Cartographic Society. He's professor of Interaction Design at UNIRSM Design (San Marino). His work can be seen and heard on permanent display at Göteborgs Konsthall (Tunnel Tales), Esino Lario's Library Como Lake (Animagus), Masseria Torre Coccaro and Masseria Torre Maizza in Fasano Apulie (The Conference of the Birds and The Color of Pomegranates), Museo della Città Rimini (Trame).
